Free First Sundays for Families

Enjoy free, all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art and its special exhibitions. In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. join in creative art activities* celebrating animals in art. Search for creatures in paintings and create colorful bird sculptures and wearable animal masks. At 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. sing and dance along with lively musical performances from the award-winning duo, Two of a Kind.

Plein Air Workshop with Randall Graham at N.C. Wyeth Studio

Painters of all skill levels are invited to join artist Randall Graham for a day of plein air painting on the grounds of the iconic N.C. Wyeth Studio, a National Historic Landmark. The workshop will include a lecture and demonstration, a tour of the historic property, and the opportunity to paint the scenic landscape. Artists may work in the medium of their choice (oil, watercolor, or acrylic).

Nature Sketch & Stroll

Nature and art enthusiasts, this stroll’s for you. Join award winning artist and instructor Randy Graham and botanical expert, Janet Ebert for a morning walk to experience Brandywine’s campus and/or meadows and native plantings. Randy will provide an introduction with teaching tips to effectively capture details of the natural surroundings through sketching, while Janet’s native botanical expertise will fuel your curiosity to learn more about the local ecology. The walk will be interspersed with stops to give participants the opportunity to engage in independent sketching.

Yoga on the Brandywine

Join us at the Museum for an inclusive and beginner-friendly yoga class designed for practitioners of all levels to explore the transformative benefits of yoga in just one hour.
