COVID-19 Update
Chadds Ford, PA, March 14, 2020—The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art is closely monitoring the ongoing situation with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) threat as we continue to make the health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers our top priority. Out of an abundance of care and concern, the Brandywine River Museum of Art will be closed through March 31, 2020. All upcoming public events and programs scheduled at the Museum now through April 30, 2020 are cancelled. If possible, the Brandywine will attempt to reschedule events and will communicate any updates or changes on our website and social media channels. Additionally, the Brandywine’s Studio Tours will now commence on May 1, 2020.
"We appreciate your patience with us as we navigate this unprecedented situation. While we are closed we invite you to enjoy our rustic footpaths along the banks of the Brandywine River and along the Harvey Run trail through Potts Meadow. We encourage you to practice social distancing while you visit our campus and we hope you find respite in the beauty of the Brandywine. Additionally, we hope you will follow us on Facebook and Instagram as we continue to share art from our collection and special exhibitions to inspire you while we are closed." — Virginia A. Logan, The Frolic Weymouth Executive Director and C.E.O.
