Bunnies and Flowers and Birds, Oh My! Spring-themed Critters now on sale at Brandywine River Museum of Art
Spring has arrived, and so has a special crop of Critters at the Brandywine River Museum of Art. Critters are whimsical and distinctive ornaments and decorations, crafted individually by hand using natural materials. Available from March 21 through April 25, Critters make great gifts for showers, housewarmings, and other special spring occasions.
Using their imaginations, museum volunteers use raw materials such as pine cones, acorns, flowers, and seed pods, to lovingly create hundreds of ducks, rabbits, birds, frogs, flowers, squirrels and more, each with a distinct personality.
The cost for the Critters ranges from $10 to $25. They are available in the Museum Shop, which is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of Critters benefit the Volunteers’ Art Purchase Fund, and Art Education and Programming.
The Brandywine River Museum of Art features an outstanding collection of American art housed in a 19th-century mill building with a dramatic steel and glass addition overlooking the banks of the Brandywine.
