The geographic extent of this project is as mapped and described in the Village of Chadds Ford Master Plan. It includes Route 1 from Fairville Road in Pennsbury Township, Chester County, east to Ring Road in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County. To the north it includes Creek Road to the Chadds Ford Historical Society, and south down Creek Road to the unused Octoraro Rail line crossing. The consultant will research design options, and provide sufficient design/engineering documentation to seek regulatory approvals and funding for detailed engineering/construction. The design will endeavor to restore a sense of place, community, and prosperity for local businesses in Chadds Ford.
