The Wyeth Study Center has been tasked by the Wyeth Foundation for American Art with the publication of the complete works of Andrew Wyeth, known in the field as a catalogue raisonné. This effort has long been in process under the oversight of Betsy James Wyeth and staff of the Wyeth family. As a result, the Center maintains extensive files on works that have been attributed to Andrew Wyeth and is able to confirm whether or not it has a record of an object and to provide reports from these files for owners and their representatives that do not constitute an authentication. An independent external catalogue raisonné committee is being formed that will make the final determinations on whether or not an object is included in this compendium; this committee’s judgments will be the only definitive statement of authenticity for Andrew Wyeth. We are actively seeking information on the current location and ownership of original works by Andrew Wyeth for this project in process and welcome inquiries with supporting images and documentation to [email protected].

We do not catalogue or collect reproductions of Wyeth’s work.
