The Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with free admission* to the galleries including the featured exhibition, Andrew Wyeth: Home Places.
In addition to free admission, creative art activities* will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make whimsical hanging mobiles, design a 3-D paper sculpture, and add to a fanciful group assemblage. In the galleries, seek and find details of paintings in the art of N. C. and Jamie Wyeth.
Enjoy the return of the renowned Funicular Circus, who will amaze all with their innovative circus arts performance in the Museum’s outdoor courtyard at 11:30 a.m. followed by a daring tight wire crossing of the Brandywine Creek at 1 p.m.
The circus performance and wirewalking are weather-permitting.
*Pre-registration is requested for art activities. Pre-register and arrive anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to participate. Note that the circus arts performance is at 11:30 a.m. and the tight wire crossing is at 1 p.m. No registration is required for admission to Museum galleries.
