Creative Escape: Holiday Linocuts

Creative Escape: Holiday Linocuts

Come create holiday cards for your loved ones at this evening workshop! Get inspired by woodblock prints in our special exhibition, The Crafted World of Wharton Esherick, and learn more about the fundamentals of linocut printing with teaching artist Charlotte Holt. You will get to design and carve a linocut block to take home, as well as print a handful of cards. All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Light snacks will be available, and BYOB is encouraged.

The Museum galleries will open at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be a brief discussion of some Wharton Esherick pieces on view. The workshop will begin at 6:15 p.m.
