The Pirates of Chadds Ford, more fun than your average museum outing
Last weekend marked our annual Pirate Day, an event that is arguably enjoyed as much by adults as it is by the kids it is targeted to.
The day’s events included a scavenger hunt through N.C. Wyeth’s Treasure Island collection, knot tying demonstrations, hat and map making, a Peter Pan performance by Hedgerow Theater, a raffle for a pirate themed prize, and–to top everything off–a group of quite convincing Pirate reenactors from the “Bloody Historical” group. If you missed us this time, be sure to join us next year!
