Making a gift for someone you love is truly special. This Mother’s Day make mom a colorful flower wreath to hang up and enjoy. Not only is this wreath easy to make and very pretty but it uses supplies you likely already have around your house! Skip those flowers that will wilt and make this egg carton flower wreath instead.

Supplies:

• Egg carton(s)
• Paper plate
• Scissors
• Paint (watercolor is used below, but any kind of paint will work!)
• Cup with water
• Paintbrush
• Glue gun

Step 1:

Cut the top half of the egg carton off.

Step 2:

Use scissors to seperate each of the egg cups.

Step 3:

Smooth and round the edges of each cup to look like petals.

Step 4:

Cut leaf shapes from the top of the egg carton.

Step 5:

Paint the leaves and flowers (make sure to paint both the outside and inside of the flowers).

Step 6:

While the leaves and flowers dry, cut out the center from the paper plate.

Step 7:

Use the glue gun to arrange the flowers on your paper plate ring.

Step 8:

Scatter leaves throughout the flowers and glue down. Add a string or ribbon to hang the wreath.
