Celebrating the Scaife Bequest [Virtual Program]

Celebrating the Scaife Bequest [Virtual Program]

A decade ago, the late Richard Scaife generously bequeathed his art collection to the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art in Chadds Ford, PA and The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, PA. Additionally, he donated two properties in Westmoreland County known as Penguin Court and Thomas Road Farm to the Brandywine to be conserved for their wildlife value.

To honor the 10th anniversary of these tremendous gifts, the Brandywine and The Westmoreland will collaboratively present a webinar that highlights how meaningful and impactful these pieces of art are to both entities and the community. Popular and frequently displayed paintings will be discussed, along with Brandywine’s use of the Penguin Court property.

Join us to celebrate and honor the Scaife bequest and learn more about the Brandywine and The Westmoreland!

This is a "Pay What You Wish" presentation with donations benefiting The Brandywine and The Westmoreland. Thank you for considering a donation.
